It's Been A Long Hard Summer

Sorry that we haven't posted since March, but we have such busy lifes! We spent March - May going to baseball games and fishing. The Grantham Family adopted several of the Ole Miss Baseball boys as our own! We lost one of our favorites but there was nothing that we could do to keep him at Ole Miss, he will be playing baseball at another school this season! We love you and we miss you dearly!
Now for a happy note: Molly Adyson and I were in Lacey's wedding in June! It was so beautiful! Lacey & Rickey are so in love! We were so happy to be a part of their special day. Jonathon spent a week in Gatlinburg for DARE training. We hate it when he leaves us, but we understand that work pays the bills. Rebel Rags Downtown closed at the end of July, but that is okay because we are adding 4,400 sq ft to our main location. We never would have guessed 5 years ago that we would be where we are today! There is a lot in store for Rebel Rags in the near future and you know we will keep you updated! I promise that I won't be gone so long next time! There is always something exciting going on in the Grantham family!
Back to our baseball children: PLEASE BE IN PRAYER FOR TAYLOR HASHMAN, Ole Miss Baseball Alumni! Taylor was involved in a tragic accident this past Friday night and is in the Med in Memphis, TN still in critical condition. You can keep up with his status at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/taylorhashman

Have I told you lately that I love you?

Just sitting here thinking about how blessed we are to have a beautiful home, decent health, jobs that we love, family that is always there for us, friends that are incredible, faith in God and the most amazing little girl in the whole wide world. It doesn't get much better than this! Dear Lord, Thank you for providing us with the things that make life grand. Don't let us forget what life could be like and take things for granted. Always remind us to help others. In your sweet, sweet name: AMEN! To my sweet friends and family! We love you! The Granthams

Sunday Funday

The Grantham Family spent this beautiful Sunday fishing and enjoying the outside. Molly Adyson and her Daddy caught about 5 brim and 3 catfish. I caught the BIGGEST CATFISH. See the pictures to the side. Jonathon was so proud. I caught him and brought him in all by myself and on a brim hook. We think it weighed about 9 pounds. Our Diamond Rebels lost the sweep over Tulane today, but at least we won the series. Ole Miss hoops pulled off another great come back over the Razorbacks yesterday. For the most part, it's been a great weekend in Oxford, MS. We had a lot of fun at the LHS Prom last night. I am very pleased to announce that I wore the skirt that I wore to my Junior Prom, 10 years ago, and I spent more time at a Prom 10 years later than i did my own. The Prom was at the Inn at Ole Miss and it was very nice. Those kids just don't know how good they have it. Reality will start soon for many of them. The Gin, a local landmark, burned down last night. I can't imagine what it was like to be on the square and hear that one of those buildings was on fire. We had to send Brandon by Rebel Rags Downtown to make sure that everything was alright. We have had a stress-free fairly relaxing weekend. Friday night, we joined Dad and Lou Lou at the new Camp to get the place organized and cleaned up. It's so amazing out there. Almost as pretty as our new house. If you don't know where our house is, you just don't know what you are missing out on. I hope that everyone has a great week. For the most part, I hope that mine is stress free and productive. We will see how long that last.

Spring is in the air

The Wilson's visited us last weekend at our new home. We are loving finally being in the country. So glad that Baseball season has started. We went to the Ole Miss Baseball game on Sunday and Molly Adyson ran the bases after the Rebels got the SWEEP for the weekend. I'm always so glad that MA shares our love for sports. Monday night our Lady Commodores played in the SemiFinal State Championship game. We were beat by Raymond which played New Albany last night for the State title and ruind New Albanys perfect season. We sure do love Coach Sutton and her Lady Commodores. Taking MA to Collyn's birthday party at the Turner Center today. she gets to go swimming. Tonight, I have a HOTT Prom Date. Jonathon is working the LHS Prom and I'm going to tag along to help watch the teenagers and keep them out of trouble.

She picks up everything!

Isn't she the most beautiful little girl in the world? I try so hard to keep her balanced and not have a "girly-girly" but also not make her a "tom-boy" either. She is so smart. This picture was taken on Monday. We have such busy lives, that we are always on the go. Molly Adyson stayed with her PawPaw Terry Friday night while Jonathon & I both worked at the Cross Town Classic. I met Daddy at home and she stayed with us Friday night. Jonathon woke up bright and early Saturday morning to go dove hunting with brandon. When Molly Adyson woke up, she asked where her daddy was and I said, "hunting, he went to shoot birds." She spent the rest of the day saying, "Daddy shootin birds!" Monday morning, she put on his camo hat with my cowboy boots and picked up my purse and the vacuum attachment and said, "I go shoot birds!" They pick up on everything. She started potty training at daycare last week and she is doing such a great job. She loves to use the potty like a big girl.
